Setting Up Form CTAs with Act-On

When creating a Form CTA, you will be directed to the service configuration portion of the CTA (first tab). To start, click on the Act-On icon to create your Act-On-linked Form CTA.

Act-On has 2 Form CTA configuration options that can be set in the first stage of the Form CTA setup process. The below options reference the screenshot at the end of this article.

Option 1 - Select an Act-On List

When you integrate your Act-On account with your Hub, all of the Account Lists, Marketing Lists, and Signup Lists from your Act-On account will be listed in the drop-down.  The fields available to be used on each individual CTA will be determined by the List you have chosen to add your users to. You must select a List if you want to add fields to your Form CTAs.

When you select a List, once a user fills out the Form CTA in question they will be automatically added to that respective Act-On List.  In the example below, a user who submits this Form CTA would be added to the "marketing list" List inside of Act-On.

Option 2 - Do Not Select an Act-On List

If you don’t choose a List to integrate with, all leads will flow into your main Contacts list in Act-On. If this is the route you would like to go, ignore this stage and leave the drop-down menu on the "Choose One" option.
