Setting up your Act-On integration can be done from two different places: the Integrations page, and when creating a new Form CTA for the first time.
Either way, integrating Act-On will be a quick, easy, and seamless process.
If starting from the Integrations page, navigate to the Act-On connection. Act-On is classified as marketing automation software and will work directly with Form CTAs to add people to your Act-On Contacts database.
Clicking on the “Connect” button under the action section will bring up a popup asking you for a few pieces of required information to connect to the tool.
Authorizing Uberflip to Communicate with Act-On
Act-On has two required fields that you must enter:
- Act-On Username; and
To do so, click on Authorize app, and enter your Act-On Username and Password. Then click Login.
Another Approach to the Integration
Integrating Act-On can also be initiated by creating a new Form CTA for the first time.
Either click the side menu button '+new' beside 'Call-to-Actions' and then click on the Form CTA option, or in the CTA page click the '+New Form CTA' button underneath 'Form CTAs' in the top nav.
This will bring up the service selection part of the Form CTA creation (see screenshot below). If you click on the 'Act-On' logo, the same popup's from the integrations page will come up and you'll be prompted to enter your Act-On Login credentials. The same steps will then apply to finish this process.
Enter the required info and click Submit.
That's it! You've integrated your Act-On account with Uberflip.
In your Act-On account you have to make sure that your marketing lists use 'E-Mail Address' as the field name for email address fields. Click here to find out how to check this requirement.
