Adding a YouTube Video Stream

Adding a YouTube video Stream to your Hub is a great way to take back control over your video marketing strategy. It's time to rescue your videos from YouTube Island!

This article will guide you through setting up and managing your video Stream in 5 easy steps.

Step 1 - Add a Stream

From your Hub home screen, visit the 'Content' area of your Hub and select '+ New Stream'.

Step 2 - Select the YouTube Icon

On the popup that appears, click the YouTube Icon.

Step 3 - Authorize Your Account

If you've already done so, this step will be skipped.

Step 4 - Select Content to Import

Using YouTube, you can choose to import in two different ways (each is shown in the screenshot below).

NOTE:  All Public and Unlisted Videos will be imported, but we are not able to import Private videos or Live Stream videos due to limitations of the Youtube API.

(1) All Videos

These are your own uploaded videos you've added to your Youtube channel.

(2) Playlists

YouTube Playlists can be created on YouTube and allow you to aggregate your favorite videos into a single location for import to your Hub.

Both are excellent options for introducing video content to your Hub.

*Pro tip: We recommend choosing to import specific playlists or all of your videos. Importing both can cause videos to be imported into your Hub twice. If you think that you will likely use most of your videos, we would recommend the "all videos" option. If only a select list of videos will be relevant in your Hub, the playlist option may make more sense. Keep in mind, you can always hide videos and it is better to have more videos than you need than to be missing a few.

Step 5 - That's It!

Select 'View Stream' to head over to your new creation or click '+ Add Another Stream' to create a new one.
