Curating videos from YouTube is a great way to populate your Hub with videos (3rd party or your own) that are relevant for your audience.
The below steps include instructions on how to add a YouTube video to a Playlist you create. For more detailed instructions, please check out this resource from Youtube.
Step 1 - Create a YouTube Playlist
Log-in to your YouTube account and click Playlists in the left menu. From there, click + New Playlist and give your new Playlist a title. Then click Create.
Step 2 - Add Relevant Videos to Your YouTube Playlist
Now that your Playlist has been created, it's time to add relevant videos to it. The beauty of using a YouTube Playlist is that you can add virtually any video on YouTube to your Playlist and bring it into your Hub.
All you need to do is click + Add To when viewing a video you'd like to add to your YouTube playlist. This will open up a dropdown menu in which you will see your Playlist listed. Just click the checkbox beside the Playlist you wish to add the video to.
Step 3 - Pull Your YouTube Playlist Into Your Hub
Log-in to your Uberflip account and from the left menu click the '+new' button beside the 'Manage Content' menu item. From there, click the YouTube icon to add a YouTube Stream. Once loaded, you should see all of your Playlists listed beneath the 'Import a Playlist' header. Just click the Playlist you wish to bring through to your Hub and watch the magic happen.
That's it! You've imported a Stream of curated videos into your Hub.
Curating Other YouTube Users' Playlists
Note: This is just a suggestion and Uberflip does not officially support or encourage this method of importing other users' Playlists.
In the event you wish to curate entire Playlists that other YouTube users have already created, you can use a tool such as http://ctrlq.org/youtube/playlists/ to copy a user's Playlist into your own Playlist.
Just sign in to your YouTube account, enter the URL of the Playlist you wish to copy into your own Playlists, and watch the magic happen.
