You can now integrate your Hub and Flipbooks with Google Tag Manager (GTM)! Use GTM Tags to integrate with Google Analytics, AdRoll, DoubleClick, or your own custom GTM Tags!
The Google Tag Manager integration is at the account level and gets the GTM container code applied to all Hubs and Flipbook pages under your account.
Regardless of how you want to do it (either by using a container you already have or creating a new one for your Hub), integrating with GTM is very easy.
If you don't have a GTM account, you'll need to create one before integrating with your Account. Don't worry, it's also easy.
Step 1 - Create a Container for your Account in Google Tag Manager (optional)
Create a 'web' container in your GTM account (if you already have a container applying to another site or sites, you can use it too, just be aware that your triggers may need to be specifically targeting certain domains).
Name it something that makes sense for you. Once you've created the container, your GTM account might look something like this:
Step 2 - Copy the Container ID
Copy the ID for the container you'd like to integrate with your Account, under the 'Container ID' heading on this page. You can use a container that you've already created, but if you completed Step 1, make sure to get the right ID.
Step 3a - Place the ID in the GTM Integration in your Hub
Log into your Hub and click 'Integrations' on the left-hand side, in the Hub menu. Look for 'Google Tag Manager' in the list, and click the blue 'Connect' button beside it.
Place the code you copied in the box and click the blue 'Connect' button.
*Note, you can also place this code within Account Settings>Connected Services if you are not a Hub user.
And that's it! You can now go to your GTM account to manage the tags in your container and see results in your Hub!
Though we recommend creating another container for your Hub, you don't have to. Your customer success rep can help you figure out how to use the containers you already have with your Hub.
