What is a Link CTA?

January 15, 2015 Uberflip Customer Success

Uberflip's Link CTAs can be used to send your visitors from a page of your Hub to a webpage of your choosing, to allow your visitors to email a set email address, or to allow a visitor to phone you or send your a SMS message.

If you're unfamiliar with the concept, 'CTA' stands for Call-to-Action. As the name implies, with a CTA you are calling upon visitors to take some type of next step down the buyer journey. This could involve using a CTA to send a user to a social media page, a webinar signup form, an event registration page, or to a specific page of your website. If you look to the right of this post, a Link CTA is asking if you need any further help!

Link CTAs are composed of  two parts, each with customizable descriptive text:

(1) A tagline that grabs the visitor’s attention by suggesting an action to take; and

(2) A button which provides visitors with a direction to take some type of action.

Upon clicking the button, a new tab, window, email, or phone action will be triggered with the URL, email address, or phone number that you set during the Link CTA creation process.
