Metrics Emails and Master Accounts

October 15, 2014 Uberflip Customer Success

We've received a few questions about the default Metrics Email Set (My Metrics) that can be created in certain scenarios, that will automatically send the email address tied to the Sub-Account a weekly update on their Hub or Flipbook's performance.

Some Master accounts may not want that default Metrics email sent so below are some scenarios to explain further.

(1) Sub-Accounts Created Prior to Metrics Launch

  • Did not receive the "Internal Metrics - Email Settings" permission
  • Must have that permission added in order to access and create Metrics Email sets
  • All Metrics Email sets must be manually created (No Weekly "My Metrics" Email Set created automatically)

(2) Sub-Accounts Created After Metrics Launch - Metrics Email Permission Given At Time of Creation

  • Can access and create Metrics Email sets
  • Weekly "My Metrics" Email Set created automatically

(3) Sub-Accounts Created After Metrics Launch - Metrics Email Permission Given After Creation

  • Can access and create Metrics Email sets
  • All Metrics Email sets must be manually created (No Weekly "My Metrics" Email Set created automatically)
