What is Pinterest Site Verification?

November 12, 2014 Uberflip Customer Success

By verifying your Hub with Pinterest, you'll make it easy for your audience to share your visual content to Pinterest, gain additional insights into your audience's behavior, and help drive traffic from Pinterest to your Hub.

To see what Pinterest Site Verification looks like in action on a Hub, just visit our hub at http://hub.uberflip.com and hover over any of our photos. You'll notice the "Pin It" icon appear in the top left of each photo.

Verifying your Hub with Pinterest not only makes it easy for your audience to Pin your photos, but it also gives you access to Pinterest's analytics tool which can provide you with further insights as to how people are interacting with your visual content. Verification also comes with the added bonus of having your Hub's URL be displayed prominently on your Pinterest profile, which can help drive traffic back to your Hub.

Please note that you can only verify your Hub on a single Pinterest account. If your Hub is already verified or associated with another Pinterest account, you'll have to 'unverify' the existing account to verify a new one.
